MONTREAL – The RCMP announced that charges have been filed against three people arrested in a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory in Quebec last year.

The charges follow a two-year investigation that led to the 2025 dismantling of the laboratory in Bromont, in the Eastern Townships region of Quebec.

Two people now face charges including the production, trafficking, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to traffic.

Another faces charges of trafficking and possession of methamphetamine with intent to traffic.

During the raid to dismantle the operation, the RCMP seized nearly four million methamphetamine tablets, 5.8 kilograms of pure methamphetamine, large quantities of chemicals used to manufacture the drug and sophisticated equipment.

The defendants are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24 at the Granby courthouse.
