MONTREAL – Montreal police have arrested a teenage day camp employee for alleged sexual offences against three minors. 

The 16-year-old worked at a day camp in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.

Police say he was arrested on Thursday morning.

The teen appeared in youth court later that day and is facing charges including sexual assault, voyeurism and production, possession and distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

The police started investigating him on July 31 and the camp ended his employment shortly after.

Montreal police are encouraging families with information to come forward.
