KEDGWICK – Someone’s cabin has gone missing in rural northern New Brunswick.
Saint-Quentin RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate the cabin that was stolen from Kedgwick, N.B.
The Mounties say the theft is believed to have occurred at the end of June 2026, on Range 9 & 10 Road in Kedgwick.
They describe the cabin as having a metal roof and as well as wooden siding.
Sgt. Yves Desroches says it’s a pre-fabricated cabin that can be moved around and is a type that is often used for hunting.
Desroches says the thieves would have needed a large truck and trailer to move the cabin, but says he couldn’t share any further information due to the ongoing investigation.
This report by The Canadian Press was first published Aug. 26, 2026.
