WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Zach Mundell and Cale Hellums ran for two touchdowns apiece, and Army cruised to a 59-3 win over Bryant in the Black Knights’ season opener on Saturday.

Army rushed for 569 yards with 16 Black Knights getting carries.

Mundell rushed for 105 yards on four carries, including a 66-yarder after taking a pitch and racing down the left sideline for a 38-3 lead in the third quarter. The touchdowns were the first of the senior slot back’s Army career.

Hellums, who had 18 rushing touchdowns last season, ran for 87 yards on seven carries and passed for 59 more. Both of his scores came in the Black Knights’ 21-point third quarter.

Brennan Myer passed for 88 yards for the Bears (1-1), who were outgained 648-165.
