ABBOTSFORD BRITISH COLUMBIA – Police in Abbotsford say no one was injured in a shooting involving two vehicles on Saturday night.
Abbotsford police say the shooting happened on McCallum Rd., where people in a dark SUV reportedly fired at another vehicle just after 11 p.m.
They say officers were called a short time later to a vehicle fire a few kilometres away where they found an SUV fully engulfed in flames.
Police say major crimes investigators are now looking into the shooting, and whether it’s linked to the vehicle fire.
They say the shooting is believed to be targeted.
Investigators say they’re appealing for witnesses who were around the 2500 block of McCallum Rd. around the time of the shooting, or in the area near the 2400 block of Sunnyside Place where the vehicle fire occurred.
