OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi running back Kewan Lacy is expected to play Saturday against Vanderbilt, coach Pete Golding said Monday.
Golding said Lacy returned to practice Sunday and took part in individual and team drills after getting a full week of rest and rehab work.
“Obviously a lot of that was noncontact last night, but fully anticipate having him this week,” Golding said.
Lacy missed the Rebels’ most recent game, a 52-28 loss at Florida, after injuring his left shoulder Sept. 19 in a victory against LSU.
Ole Miss, which is ranked ninth, did not play last weekend. Lacy has rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns on 39 carries this season.
