LANGLEY – A 23-year-old man has been killed in what’s believed to be a targeted shooting in Langley, B.C., and homicide investigators have taken over the case.
Langley RCMP say they were called at 9:45 p.m. Monday after a report of shots fired in the 6000 block of 200 Street.
The man died at the scene despite receiving life-saving treatment.
Shortly after, police were called to a vehicle burning nearby that investigators have determined was used in the shooting.
Homicide investigators are trying to establish a timeline of events in the case, and police are canvassing for video evidence and witnesses.
Witnesses and those with dashcam footage of the nearby areas around the time of the shooting have been asked to contact police.
