SURREY – Homicide investigators say they have yet to positively identify a man who was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Surrey, B.C.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says in a statement that police were called to the 6100-block of 156 Street in Surrey on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency responders found the man dead, and the initial investigation shows the death was criminal.
Police say investigators are working to establish a timeline of events, the circumstances of the death and the victim’s identity.
They are asking anyone in the area of the crime scene between Oct. 8 and Oct. 14 who may have information to come forward.
Those with dashcam footage of the area are also asked to contact police, since the video may help establish the events leading up to the man’s death.
This report by The Canadian Press was first published Oct. 15, 2026.
