Rogen’s wedding ‘was non-stop fun’

CANADIAN actor-writer-producer and all-around funnyman Seth Rogen married his longtime girlfriend, writer-director Lauren Miller over the weekend

According to US Weekly, the three-day event took place at the Kunde Estate in Sonoma, Calif., culminating on Saturday “atop a hill surrounded by vineyards.”

Officiated by a female rabbi, the couple exchanged their vows in front of a Who’s Who of modern comedy including: Jonah Hill, Adam Sandler, Paul Rudd and, of course, director-producer Judd Apatow and wife Leslie Mann.

“The wedding was more laughs than anything else,” a source told the website. “Every other line was a joke and the crowd couldn’t contain their laughter. It was non-stop fun!”

The picturesque ceremony is in contrast to the couple’s rather awkward engagement story. As he told Conan O’Brien in November 2010, the 29-year-old star let nerves spoil his engagement to Miller, 30, whom he met while working as a staff writer for Da Ali G Show. “(After buying the engagement ring) I felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold onto. I felt like the feds were going to kick in my door at any second,” he told the O’Brien. “I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think of was this ring.”

To get it off his chest, he proposed on the spot, even though Miller was changing in the closet at the time. “I didn’t picture it like this, and I know she didn’t picture it like this,” he said. “No little girl is like ‘It’ll happen in a closet with my (boobs) out.'”

The Vancouver native has starred in the films Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, Funny People and The Green Hornet. His latest movie, 50/50, opened Friday.
