The Jets fired 23 shots at the Blues’ Halak, but the big guns like Evander Kane, Olli Jokinen, Ladd, Little and Mark Scheifele managed only one each. Only Blake Wheeler, Devin Setoguchi and Michael Frolik managed to hit the net more than once.

‘TOBAN FACTOR:

The game-winning goal was scored by Winnipeg-born Alex Steen while Ryan Reaves, also a product of River City, picked up a helper on Brenden Morrow’s goal, the first of the game.
