Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 02/01/2014 (4395 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
Here come the plows.
An expected dump of snow has convinced the City of Winnipeg to extend the declared snow route parking ban on regional streets by two hours tonight. Instead of starting at 2 a.m., it will kick in at midnight and run until 7 a.m.
In addition, residential plowing will begin Sunday evening at 7 p.m. and the residential parking ban will come into effect in various zones in 12-hour shifts.
Vehicle owners who park on streets affected by the ban will be hit with a fine and could have their vehicles towed.
The schedule for the lettered zones around the city will be posted on knowyourzone.winnipeg.ca on Friday.
