үӯ ABOUT THE KINGS
The Kings are the team no one wants to meet in the first round of the playoffs. They’re big, they’re hot and they’re experienced. Oh, they have Jonathan Quick in goal. L.A. has won 13 of their last 16 games and dumped the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in Pittsburgh on Thursday night.
The Kings’ offence is paced by Anze Kopitar and Jeff Carter and they’re both on fire. Kopitar has 17 points in his last 17 games (6-11) and 25 points in his last 30 games (9-16). Carter has 13 points in his last 17 games (6-7-) and 25 points in his last 34 games (14-11) and 35 points in his last 43 games (19-16).
Quick has a 1.88 goals-against average, a .923 save percentage and four shutouts in his last 28 games. Quick is 11-2-0 in his last 13 games with a 1.64 GAA and a .933 save percentage with two shutouts.
