Hey there, time traveller!

There’s just one game left now for the Bombers, a Saturday afternoon tilt in Calgary to put the final nail on their stumbled 2014 season.
But what head coach Mike O’Shea will take away from how badly the second half unraveled, well, that will have to wait until next week. “We’re in the process of trying to beat Calgary,” O’Shea said today, speaking to the media after a day of team activities at Investors Group Field
“It’s not fair to the guys that are playing for me to think about that. I’ve asked them to eliminate all distractions going forward… if their head coach isn’t doing the same, we’re not going to have the direction.”
On that end, O’Shea confirmed that quarterback Drew Willy will get the start this week, though “how it plays out after that, we don’t have a good plan yet.” There will be a couple of roster changes from last Saturday’s loss to the B.C. Lions — DE Greg Peach was hurt in that game and won’t play – and likely they’ll want to take a look at some other players, though O’Shea didn’t phrase it quite that way.
Instead, he repeated the desire to win against a Stampeders team that’s been, far and away, the best in the league this season. “Obviously, it’s the only objective, but it would be great for our team,” he said. “We need that. We need to salvage something from the second half of the season, and create a little more foundation for the start of next year.
