Tom Paulley, 63, is now the NDP candidate in Charleswood-St. James-Assiniboia-Headingley.Paulley has lived in the Assiniboia area since 1996 and was employed as a correctional officer until his retirement.

He’s married to Beverley, and has two step-daughters.Paulley worked as former NDP candidate Stefan Jonasson’s campaign manager until Jonasson’s withdrawal as candidate on Sept. 24.
“I just want to do my best to represent the values the NDP stand for,” Paulley said.
