The Florida Panthers put together a late rally, scoring twice in the third period to beat the Jets 3-2 Tuesday night at the MTS Centre.

Reilly Smith tied the game at 2-2 early in the final period with his second of the night and the ageless Jaromir Jagr put the visitors up for good less than two minutes later, notching his 21st goal of the season and 46th point.

Smith opened the scoring, putting the Panthers up 1-0 with a nice tip that beat goalie Ondrej Pavelec high glove side. The Jets would take the lead in the second period with goals from Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Copp, who scored his first goal in 46 games and just his second of the season.
