Hey there, time traveller!

Brandon Tanev is getting an unexpected trip south.
The Winnipeg Jets used an emergency recall to promote the rookie forward from the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League this morning. He’ll accompany the team to California, where the Jets face the L.A. Kings on Thursday night and Anaheim Ducks 24 hours later.
Tanev, 24, has two goals and two assists in 42 games in his rookie season with the Jets. He has nine points (3G, 6A) in 23 games with the Moose.
Winnipeg dressed 12 forwards in its 3-2 victory over Philadelphia on Tuesday, and had no extra forwards in the press box.
Left-winger Shawn Matthias is gone for the season with a serious shoulder injury that required surgery.
Injured blue-liners Jacob Trouba (upper body) and Tyler Myers (lower body) have accompanied the team to L.A. but likely won’t play.
Defencemen Paul Postma (lower body), Toby Enstrom (upper body) and Ben Chiarot (lower body) are also on the mend.
