Anaheim (42-23-11), tops in the Pacific Division, has won five straight games, including a 3-1 triumph over the visiting Jets last Friday. The Ducks, sparked by RW Corey Perry’s 16th goal of the year just 23 seconds into the game, beat Vancouver 4-1 on Tuesday to clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup playoffs, and are 9-1-1 over their last 11 games.

RW Patrick Eaves notched his 28th goal of the year and seventh in 14 games since being acquired from Dallas for a conditional second-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft in late February. The 32-year-old Calgary product, an unrestricted free agent after the season, hasn’t had a 20-goal season since 2005-06 when he was in Ottawa.

C Ryan Getzlaf, who leads the Ducks with 66 points, took the warm-up skate but was a late scratch against Vancouver and is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury. The team captain has 52 assists, just one behind Senators D Erik Karlsson for third in the league in that offensive category. Swedish-born C Rickard Rakell has a team-high 32 goals.

G Jonathan Bernier has been red hot down the stretch drive, starting all five during the squad’s current winning streak. He stopped 34 shots against the Canucks two nights ago and is 9-0-1 with a .947 save percentage over his last 10 starts.
