Rock in the rain
The Bombers were bumped off the field at Canad Inns Stadium on Saturday to make room for the Rock on the Range concert. The team travelled a few blocks west of the stadium to practise on the field of the St. James Rods.
Laundry list
Bombers equipment man Brad Fottey began carting practice equipment over to the Rods field early Saturday morning. Fottey planned on being busy late into Saturday as he figured he had 40 loads of laundry to do after a wet and muddy workout.
The quote
“It’s tough for receivers to keep focus when the passes coming their way all look like curves and sliders,” coach Mike Kelly on the work of his QBs in Saturday’s wind and rain.
