Two Williams cut

Winnipeg made a pair of cuts on Wednesday, releasing defensive lineman Tyrone Williams and quarterback Richie Williams. The moves were needed after the team took on the salary of veteran QB Michael Bishop. Both had seen limited action with the Bombers.

Non-factors

Wide receiver Adarius Bowman is expected to miss another week with an ailing hip flexor and linebacker Joe Lobendahn (shoulder) will also sit another week.

Bruce blames Milt

Arland Bruce III, traded from Toronto to Hamilton on Wednesday, was asked about his controversial end zone dances. "I blame it on Milt Stegall," said Bruce. "I started in Winnipeg and he taught me this stuff there. Milt would choreograph stuff. It’s Milt’s fault."
