REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed American receiver Shaq Evans to a contract extension Tuesday.
Evans, 30, will return for a fourth season with the Riders.
Evans had 26 catches for 220 yards in five games last season after recovering from a broken leg suffered during the ’21 season.
Evans had a banner ’19 campaign with 72 catches for 1,334 yards and five TDs.
Evans was a 2014 fourth-round pick of the New York Giants out of UCLA. He also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars.
