Several events to mark Remembrance Day are happening Friday in Winnipeg:
RBC Convention Centre, 375 York St. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., people have to be seated by 10:30 a.m. for the service, which begins at 10:40 a.m.
Minto Armoury, 969 St. Matthews Ave. Indoor service begins at 10:40 a.m.

Several events to mark Remembrance Day are happening Friday in Winnipeg.
Lieutenant-Colonel Harcus Strachan VC MC Armoury (formerly McGregor Armoury), 551 Machray Ave. Indoor ceremony begins at 10:40 a.m.
Vimy Ridge Park, 821 Preston Ave. Outdoor ceremony starts at 10:40 a.m.
Valour Road ceremony will be outdoors at Valour Road and Sargent Avenue at 10:40 a.m.
The Eagles Club is honouring 13 fallen soldiers on the cenotaph at St. Norbert Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Refreshments will be served afterwards at the 3459 Pembina Hwy. club.
Royal Canadian Legion branch services:
Norwood/St. Boniface (134 Marion St.) is holding a service at 11 a.m. Doors open at 10 a.m.
Transcona is holding a service at 117 Regent Ave. E. at 10 a.m.
Winnipeg South Osborne (426 Osborne St.) is holding a service at 10:30 a.m.
St. James Legion is holding a service at Bruce Park. The parade begins at the Assiniboine Hotel on Portage Avenue at 10:40 a.m. A reception will be held afterward at the branch.
