A rural route has been named Manitoba’s worst road for the second consecutive year.

Provincial Road 307 again received the top dishonour in CAA Manitoba’s annual survey.

“According to survey respondents, the main reasons for choosing the road include poor road maintenance and potholes,” CAA said in a news release Thursday.

For the first time, the worst three roads are all outside of Winnipeg. Brandon’s 18th Street claimed second place, while Highway 34 was third after placing fourth last year.

Goulet Street was the top pick among Winnipeg roads, placing fourth overall. Leila Avenue, Kenaston Boulevard and Saskatchewan Avenue also placed in the overall Top 10.
