KITCHENER, Ont. – Sam O’Reilly’s goal at 4:29 of the third period snapped a 1-1 deadlock and lifted the London Knights to a 2-1 Ontario Hockey League victory over the Kitchener Rangers on Tuesday night at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.

Oliver Bonk scored a first period power-play goal for the Midwest Division-leading Knights (54-10-2-0), who were outshot 27-16 by the hosts.

Matthew Andonovski scored a second period power-play goal for the Rangers (46-14-4-2), who trailed 1-0 after the first period but were tied 1-1 heading into the third.

The Rangers went 1-for-4 on the power play, while the Knights were 1-for-3.

FLINT, Mich. — Wil McFadden’s goal 33 seconds into the third period snapped a 1-1 stalemate and lifted the visiting Guelph Storm to a 2-1 win over the Flint Firebirds.

Lev Katzin also scored for the Storm (19-37-5-4), who were outshot 39-27. Netminder Zachary Jovanovski made 38 saves for the Storm.

Sam McCue scored for the Firebirds (28-32-2-3), who were tied 1-1 heading into the third period.
