TORONTO – Police in Durham Region say they’ve arrested a Toronto man after he allegedly pretended to be a teenager in order to have a relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Police say the 29-year-old man met the victim on Snapchat, where he allegedly posed as a 15-year-old boy to befriend the girl, and the two later met in person.

Investigators say the relationship eventually became physical.
