TORONTO – Toronto police say they’ve made four more arrests and laid 88 more charges in an ongoing investigation into a gunfight last November.

Police say plainclothes officers were conducting an unrelated investigation on Queen Street West on Nov. 11 when three people arrived in a stolen vehicle and fired shots at a building being used as a recording studio.

They allege people at the recording studio returned fire, while the arrivals took cover behind an unmarked police car that had two officers inside before running away.

Police say there were no injuries and 36 arrests have been made in total, with several firearms seized.

They say the latest four suspects were arrested in Mississauga, Ont., on July 24, and they recovered two additional firearms.

Investigators say they are still searching for three more suspects tied to the case.
