The Winnipeg Blue Bombers revealed their final roster cuts on Saturday.
Out of the 25 names let go, the most notable was offensive lineman Kendall Randolph, who started all 18 games last season.
The University of Alabama product joined the Bombers in 2024 and went on to appear in 25 games for the club.
Randolph’s status with the Bombers was in jeopardy after they signed Jarell Broxton in the off-season to play right tackle and made him the highest paid American offensive lineman in the league.
Winnipegger Jackson Tachinski, a former standout quarterback for the Manitoba Bisons who has converted to receiver, was also cut.
The Blue and Gold also released Canadian offensive lineman Iwinosa Uwubanmwen; American offensive linemen Sebastian Pares and Bucky Williams; American running back Stevie Rocker; Canadian receivers Joshua Jack, Thomas Desrosiers, Kolby Hurford ; American receivers TJ Davis, Jihad Marks, Jamoi Mayes, and Jayden Harrison; Canadian defensive linemen Carter Hooper and Kaleb Mackie-McLeod; American defensive linemen Antoineo Harris, Jonah Pace, and Arnold Young; American linebackers Micah Cretsinger and Ja’Kobe Clinton; American defensive backs Deandre Lamont, Bryan Addison, and Warren Burrell; Canadian kicker Brady Lidster; and Global punter Keegan Andrews.
The Bombers also signed Canadian receiver Daniel Oladejo to the practice roster on the weekend. The 26-year-old out of Ottawa spent last season with Montreal, and in the two years prior to that, with his hometown Redblacks. Oladejo, a second-round pick in the 2023 CFL Draft, has four catches for 38 yards in 18 career games.
The other 11 signed to the practice roster were American offensive linemen Hunter Poncius and Micah Mazzccua; Canadian running back Matthew Peterson; American receivers Christian Fredricksen, Dorian Singer, and Kenneth Womack; Canadian defensive lineman Collin Kornelson; American defensive linemen David Reese and Michael Fletcher; Canadian linebacker Charles-Elliot Bouliane; and American defensive back Ridge Texada.
Peterson played 15 games last season as the No. 2 tailback behind Brady Oliveira and ran the ball 66 times for 329 yards and a touchdown. Kornelson appeared in nine.
