WHITE ROCK – A man who taught girls to dance at a studio in White Rock, B.C., faces multiple sexual assault charges alleged to have taken place between 2006 and 2011.

RCMP says 45-year-old Nigel Brock Jellison faces five counts of sexual assault and one charge of sexual exploitation involving four females.

RCMP says the investigation started in 2021 when a complaint was made at the White Rock detachment and more alleged victims were later identified.

Police say charges were laid in February against Jellison and he was arrested on a Canada-wide warrant in Magrath, Alta., on April 15.

Mounties say the accused has been associated with other dance studios and it’s believed that he was recently teaching in Alberta.

RCMP Sgt. Rob Dixon says investigators are appealing to others who may have more information on Jellison to contact them.
