‘Jimmy Fallon’ finds head writer: A.D. Miles tapped for talk show

Miles.Miles will work closely with Fallon, "Late Night" exec producer Lorne Michaels and showrunner-producer Michael Shoemaker in crafting the show's comedy.Miles recently appeared in the feature "Role Models," for which he also wrote the song "Love Take Me Down to the Streets." He wrote, produced and starred in the Comedy Central series "Dog Bites Man."Also at Comedy Central, Miles was a producer-director for Robert Smigel's "TV Funhouse"; wrote the cabler's first TV movie, "Porn and Chicken"; and, with Zach Galifianakis, created and starred in the pilot "Speed Freaks."Online, he created, wrote and starred in the MyDamnChannel series "Horrible People" and also wrote, directed and starred in David Wain's "Wainy Days" Web series.Miles just sold another Web series, "Hot Sluts! Rated R," to Atom Films."Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" bows March 2. Via his Twitter account, Fallon said he and the new "Late Night" crew, including house band the Roots, were busy prepping to shoot a test show today.Meanwhile, Fallon's predecessor, "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," airs its final episode this Friday.
