A Winnipeg eatery has been named one of the top 50 restaurants in Canada for 2013.
Deseo Bistro, the Latin-influenced brainchild of chef/owner Scott Bagshaw at 696 Osborne St., ranked No. 38 on the list, published annually by Vacay.ca.
The judges named the sweetbreads — “made in a style reminiscent of butter chicken, with pickled cucumber, spiced yogurt, naan, and cilantro — as a “must-order” dish.
