Hey there, time traveller!

The Winnipeg Jets have received their weekend marching orders.
With three games in three days spread out from Nashville to Carolina to Newfoundland, the Jets have split their squad into two lineups – one which will travel to Music City then to St. John’s, the other to Carolina and then back to Winnipeg.
“It’s exciting. You want to play games, that’s why we’re here,” said Jets’ winger Blake Wheeler.

“Guys start to get the itch a little bit to get out in game action. It was nice to get a couple of games this week… I was in a little bit different atmosphere (in Columbus) than the one here. But regardless it was fun to get on the ice and compete again.”
The Jets return home for their final two pre-season games: next Wednesday against Carolina and Friday vs. Nashville.
Winnipeg then has a nine-day break before opening the regular season against the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 9.
“Everybody has a chance to accomplish something,” said head coach Claude Noel. “Everybody has an opportunity to ingrain themselves in what they’re going to be.”
