The leaders of Manitoba’s three main political parties are spreading their messages today in meetings and even in a radio station’s traffic cruiser.

Premier Greg Selinger began a ride-along at 7:30 a.m. today with CJOB radio’s Brian Barkley.

Selinger’s plan for the rest of the day was to include a 10:30 a.m. meeting at the Winnipeg Indoor Soccer Complex at 211 Chancellor Matheson Road to discuss better recreation opportunities followed at 3 p.m. by a meeting in Fisher Branch to discuss better health care close to home.

Hugh McFadyen, the Progressive Conservative party leader, was scheduled at 11:45 a.m. to meet with community stakeholders in Winnipeg and make a campaign announcement at 2 p.m. in Winnipeg. At 5:30-8:30 p.m., McFadyen was slated to accompany Manitoba PC candidate Mike Brown on a door-knocking tour in St. Vital.

Jon Gerrard, Manitoba’s Liberal party leader, was expected to make an announcement about proposed changes to the Manitoba immigration policy at 10:30 a.m. at the Phillipine Canadian Centre of Manitoba at 737 Keewatin St. Expected to be Joining Gerrard was Tyndall Park canadidate Roldan Sevillano.
