HAMILTON — Winnipeg Blue Bombers punter Mike Renaud has kept his job for at least one more week.

The Bombers issued a one-sentence statement early this morning indicating Renaud will punt for them Friday evening in Hamilton against the Tiger-Cats.

Renaud has struggled with consistency in recent weeks and the club brought in former University of Manitoba Bisons kicker Jamie Boreham — acquired via a trade with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Monday — to audition for Renaud’s job in practice this week.
