WINNIPEG — Beware… Winnipeg’s fifth annual Zombie Walk takes place tonight.

People dressed up like they’re the living dead will lurch along the riverwalk from Stephen Juba Park in the Exchange to The Forks then past the legislature to Osborne Village where the Zombie Walk after-party takes place at The Zoo.

The zombies are gathering at Stephen Juba Park at 7 p.m. and the walk begins at 8:30 p.m. There will be a fire spinning performance at 7:30 p.m. with zombies doing the Thriller dance at 8 p.m.

Winnipeg Harvest volunteers collect non-perishable food donations from zombie-walkers who are asked to place any food items in a paper or plastic bag to ensure no zombie makeup gets on the food.
