Hey there, time traveller!

TAMPA – Jets goalie Chris Mason is not on the ice with his teammates this morning.
Mason strained his groin in last night’s 9-8 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Jets play the Lightning on Saturday night and it’s unknown if Mason can take part. If not the club would recall a goalie from the St. John’s IceCaps – most likely Peter Mannino.

Centre Aaron Gagnon has cleared waivers and been assigned to the IceCaps.
Meanwhile, the Jets have placed forward Brett MacLean on waivers.
The club will assign MacLean to the St. John’s IceCaps if he clears.
MacLean has two assists in five games.
