WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward Spencer Machacek from the St. John’s IceCaps this morning.
The 23-year-old from Lethbridge, Alta., had a hat trick for the IceCaps earlier this week and has 17 goals and 48 points for the AHL club this season.
He’s being brought in to replace right-winger Eric Fehr, who’s out with an upper-body injury.
This will be Machacek’s second recall of the season.
