It’s a forecast that a mother would love.
Mother’s Day is going to be one of the hottest days of 2012 with an expected high of 27 C. It’s going to be a little on the breezy side, however, with winds gusting to 60 km/h in then morning.
So, if you’re going to be loading up your pick-up truck with goodies from the giveaway weekend, make sure they’re tied down.
This is Day 2 of the city-wide flea market – without the payment part – and items marked “free” and left on the curb can be taken away. (Make sure you don’t take kids’ toys that might have been inadvertently left in the front yard.)
The above-normal temperatures and sunny skies will continue for the first part of the week with highs ranging from 21 C to 28 C. Clouds will roll in on Thursday with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 29 C.
Looking forward to the long weekend: Friday should see a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 27 C and Saturday could see some more showers and a high of 25 C.
