The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are setting aside a few sections in the new stadium for a family huddle.
The club announced that Sections 116-121 at Investors Group Field will be designated ‘Family Sections.’ Youth pricing will be available for those hoping to attend games as a family unit and special recreational activities are being discussed for the block of sections.
“We feel Blue Bomber fans have different wants and desires and our goal is to cater to as many different groups as possible. In this case, children 15 and under who are with a parent or guardian will receive their ticket at a discounted price,” Bombers president and CEO Garth Buchko said in a statement.
The Bombers also announced that Section 118 at the 33,500-seat facility will be designated a ‘no alcohol section.’ The football club is the only pro sports franchise in Manitoba to offer this opportunity to fans.
The Bombers are hoping to begin play in the new stadium in September.
