Jets winger Anthony Peluso has been suspended for three games by the NHL today.
Peluso was ejected from Saturday’s home game against Dallas for a hit from behind and into the boards on Stars defenceman Alex Goligoski.
The league conducted a phone hearing with Peluso at mid-day Sunday.
In its release today, the NHL said that under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Peluso will forfeit $8,653.86. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
