KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia – Canada’s John Fairbairn finished seventh Saturday in the men’s skeleton competition at the Sochi Games.
Calgary’s Fairbairn, 30, posted a time of three minutes 48.13 seconds to finish 3.84 seconds behind event winner Alexander Tretiakov of Russia.
After standing eighth following the two runs Friday, the five-foot-10, 154-pound Fairbairn made up a spot following the last two runs Saturday.
