Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 21/05/2014 (4353 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers went back to the future on Wednesday, announcing they had signed non-import DB Kris Robertson to a contract.

The Bombers drafted Robertson in the second round of the 2013 CFL draft — 11th overall — but he tore his ACL prior to training camp last year and never did report to Winnipeg.

Robertson (5-9, 185, Concordia, DOB: November 23, 1990 in Pickering, Ontario) earned first and second team All-Canadian honours as a returner while at Concordia.

If Robertson cracks the Bombers lineup, he would be just the second member of Winnipeg’s 2013 draft class to actually play. Carl Fitzgerald was the first last season.

The other four players drafted last season by former Bombers GM Joe Mack — Andy Mulumba, Mike DiCroce, Stephen Alli and Billy Pavlopoulos — haven’t played a down in the regular season.
