The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed tough guy Anthony Peluso on a two-year, one-way pact worth an annual average value of $675,000.
The 26-year-old was scheduled to become a restricted free agent as of July 1.
Peluso appeared in 49 games with the Jets during the 2014-15 season, firing home one goal and adding one helper while racking up 86 penalty minutes.

In three NHL seasons, Peluso has played 107 games and recorded three goals and six assists with 165 penalty minutes.
Originally from North York, Ont., Peluso was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in sixth round, 160th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
The Jets snagged the enforcer off waivers back on Jan. 6, 2012.
