Riding high on a new local poll that give his party the momentum, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau will be in Winnipeg Tuesday morning for a brief stop.
The Grit leader’s second stop in Winnipeg this campaign period will be at Carte International, a transformer manufacturers located at 1995 Logan Avenue.
The Liberals are hoping to pick up three or perhaps four seats in Winnipeg, most in South Winnipeg and all from Conservatives. Trudeau’s stop will be in the northern edge of Winnipeg Centre, another riding that’s earned attention thanks to Liberal candidate Robert-Falcon Ouellette and his bid to unseat outspoken NDP MP Pat Martin.
Trudeau is expected to make an announcement about jobs and innovation during his mid-morning stop.
