Hey there, time traveller!

Patrik Laine is expected to make his return to the Winnipeg lineup Tuesday night when the Jets host the San Jose Sharks at the MTS Centre.
The all-star right-winger has missed seven games since suffering a concussion on a hit from Buffalo Sabres defenceman Jake McCabe on Jan. 7. The 18-year-old Finn was a full participant in practice Sunday and also skated without any issues in a pre-game skate Monday morning.
“He’s very, very close,” said head coach Paul Maurice, whose Jets will host the Anaheim Ducks tonight. “I’d consider him an option for tomorrow.”

The club’s coaching staff put Laine through some extra skating Sunday to test his readiness.
“He’s been banging on the door… he’s feeling strong…. If we weren’t playing San Jose tomorrow, if it wasn’t back to back, we’d consider him for this game (tonight),” said Maurice. “We felt we needed to push him as hard as we did to clear up any concerns that we would have.”
Meanwhile, veteran Ondrej Pavelec is expected to get his third consecutive start in the Winnipeg net after posting two victories last week after being recalled from the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.
Pavelec did not participate in this morning’s optional skate, but could get starts tonight and Tuesday.
“We would consider it,” said Maurice of the possibility of Pavelec playing back-to-back games.
