Hey there, time traveller!

Veteran cornerback Chris Randle of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers has been nominated by his teammates for the Tom Pate Award, a CFL Players Association honour that recognizes a player who is distinguished by his performance on and off the field.
Centre Alex Mateas (Ottawa RedBlacks), offensive lineman Jamal Campbell (Toronto Argonauts), defensive back Courtney Stephen (Hamilton Tiger-Cats), defensive lineman Makana Henry (Saskatchewan Roughriders), defensive back Josh Bell (Calgary Stampeders), slotback Adarius Bowman (Edmonton Eskimos), slotback Emmanuel Arceneaux (B.C. Lions) and wide receiver Stephen Adekolu (Montreal Alouettes) are the other nominees for the award.
The winner will be announced on Nov. 23.

The award is named after Tom Pate, a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats who died as a result of an aneurysm he sustained in a game in 1975.
