The family of a missing Manitoba woman who police believe is with a fugitive is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to her safe return.

RCMP believe Breanna Lee Hudson, 28, and Shaquille MacFarlane, 29, may be in the Winnipeg area.

Hudson’s family announced Thursday it will offer a reward of $3,500 for any tip that results in the pregnant woman being located and returned to her loved ones.

Hudson has an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

The reward will be increased to $5,000 if the information also helps RCMP locate MacFarlane, who is wanted on multiple warrants.

“Our family and friends are all desperate to get Breanna home to her child, and we are fearful for her well-being,” said Crystal Loden, her mother.

“We have decided to offer a reward as we suspect someone may know where they are or it may entice someone to look harder into where they could be with mutual contacts.

“This is a reward for doing the right thing — to bring a woman home to her eight-year-old daughter that needs her.”

The reward is being offered privately by Hudson’s family, who believe one or more people may be hiding her and MacFarlane.

Hudson was reported missing to police on the evening of Feb. 16.

RCMP learned she and MacFarlane left a home in Ile des Chênes, about 12 kilometres south of Winnipeg, in the early hours of that morning.

Her daughter was not present when the pair left, according to her family.

Loden, 44, is worried her daughter, who is about four months pregnant, will not get the health care she needs if she isn’t found soon.

And she believes Hudson is in danger.

Shaquille MacFarlane

RCMP are investigating possible sightings.

Police said MacFarlane has warrants for his arrest for two counts of uttering threats and single counts of assault, extortion and obstruction of justice.

He is also wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for allegedly breaching bail conditions, according to RCMP.

MacFarlane is five-foot-10 and 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Hudson is five-foot-four and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Hudson and/or MacFarlane is asked to call St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP at 204-433-7433 or the nearest police service.

Hudson’s family is also encouraging people to contact Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477 to submit tips anonymously.
