WINNIPEG — Manitoba cannot tinker its way to prosperity, but needs bold ideas.
That’s the big message the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and other provincial business groups are trying to give to Manitoba political parties during the current election in a campaign they are calling Manitoba Bold.
In the first of six such announcements planned for the election campaign, chamber president Dave Angus challenged the province to reinvent its revenue model, become much more efficient and start allowing Manitobans to reap dividends from Manitoba Hydro.
