OTTAWA – A man has been charged with second-degree murder in what Ottawa police are calling a case of intimate partner violence.
Police say they were called to a home at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday where a woman was found dead.
She has been identified as Jennifer Zabarylo, a 47-year-old woman from Ottawa.
 
									
									Police say a 55-year-old man was arrested.
They say the man has been charged with second-degree murder.
Police say the case is considered an alleged femicide because it occurred in the context of intimate partner violence.
