SPRUCE GROVE, Alta. – RCMP have charged a man with second-degree murder in a stabbing at a corn maze west of Edmonton.
They say officers received a call Tuesday night about the stabbing at the Edmonton Corn Maze near Spruce Grove.
A suspect was still on scene, and he was arrested.
The victim has been identified as 53-year-old Joseph Farnsworth.
Mounties say the two men knew each other and were guests at the corn maze.
The 41-year-old accused has been remanded in custody and is to appear in Stony Plain court on Sept. 4.
