VANCOUVER – Police in Vancouver say a man is dead after a collision involving a taxi in Vancouver’s downtown core on Friday night.
The Vancouver Police Department says a 55-year-old pedestrian was allegedly struck by a taxi at around 10 p.m.
Police say the man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The taxi driver was treated for minor injuries.
Investigators are now looking into the fatality.They are asking witnesses to come forward.
