Ottawa police are offering a $75,000 reward for information in the case of a man who was fatally stabbed in the city’s south end a year ago today.

Police say 66-year-old Roger Dale Lusk was driving his pickup truck in Metcalfe around 11 a.m. on Sept. 23, 2024 when he pulled over and interacted with a light grey or silver sedan.

They allege the front passenger of the sedan went into Lusk’s vehicle and stabbed him before fleeing the scene.

Police say a neighbour found Lusk and he was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries on Oct. 5.

Police believe there were at least two people in the suspect vehicle at the time of the attack.

Police describe Lusk as a “devoted father and husband” and they’re asking anyone with information to come forward.
